Single image video with an image signal transmitter has a signal converter for the image signal into an image data signal, which can be handled by an external image processor. A control supplies the image data signal to the external processor. The signal converter pref. contains an A/D converter, a memory for the converted digital signal, and a digital signal processor converting the stored signal into an image data signal. Typically the memory is of a RAM type, and the digital signal processor contains a CPU. The control may comprise a driver, converting the image data signal into a preset standard communication signal and transmits the same.
