In addition to a main chamber (2) for producing steam, this boiler includes an auxiliary chamber (3) for separating the steam. At an intermediate point in the height of this second chamber there emerges a communication passage (8) leaving the upper part of the steam-producing chamber (2). In addition, the lower part of this separation chamber communicates with the lower part of the steam-producing chamber (2). Preferably, this boiler furthermore comprises a separate chamber (4) for monitoring the water level, the lower and upper ends of which communicate with one of the first two chambers, and inside which there is installed an element (12) for monitoring the level.
