PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of finishing by cutting a prepreg by using a carbon dioxide laser. CONSTITUTION:The prepreg 1 consisting of a resin 2 and fibers 3 is cut. The prepreg is cut by using the carbon dioxide laser in this cutting. The crack and resin swarf in the cut end face are prevented and further the projection of the fibers and the fiber dust are prevented according to this cutting method. The cleanliness of the cut end face part is greatly improved. |
