PURPOSE:To permit easy hot press welding by disposing outside materials having high resistance to oxidation on both sides of inside materials and disposing a frame material having a communicating part to the circumferential edge side thereof to form a material to be worked. CONSTITUTION:Two sheets of molybdenum plates 1, 1 are superposed and the entire part of the circumference thereof is enclosed with a sheet of nickel plate 3. The plate 3 is bent and formed to be used commonly as the frame material 4 for enclosing the nickel plate materials 2, 2 to be press-welded to both side faces of the materials 1, 1 and for enclosing the circumferential edge side. A communication part 6 with pinholes which communicate the inside and outside in provided to the frame 4. The resulted material to be worked is heated in a gaseous hydrogen atmosphere and is then subjected to to hot rolling. The material 1 is cleaned by the gaseous hydrogen and is easily press- welded to the nickel plate material 2 according to the above-mentioned method. The hot press welding of the composite body is thus made easy while the oxidation of the material 1 is prevented. |
