Sealing strip for vehicle window

The sealing strip for the vehicle window has a U-shaped metal reinforcing which clips over the edge seam which runs around the inside of the window frame. The horizontal seal (6) is moulded in one piece with the curved corner profiles (7), and butts against a separate upright seal section (8). The U-shaped support is slit to enable it to form the corner profile and the sealing rubber is extruded over the shape. The sealing strip is prepared by passing through the extrusion heads and with or without subsequent working. A hard rubber layer is applied first, finished with a softer rubber coating.
