<p>PURPOSE:To visually express the allocation condition of a memory and to apply high performance judging ability to an operator by collecting the allocation (attribute) information of a page for the unit of the page, allocating a color code corresponding to the attribute information to each collected page and outputting the information to a display device. CONSTITUTION:A page information collection processing 1002 collects page attribute information 1003 and stores the information in a temporary memory area 1009. When the collection of all the page attribute information is finished or when the temporary work area is filled up, the information are sent through a page information transfer processing 1004 to a first memory area 1005 of a console device 1011. In a page information display processing 1006, the attribute value of a second memory area 107 storing the former state is compared with the sent attribute value and in the case of dissidence, the color code is determined corresponding to the new attribute value. Then, the information are outputted to a spot corresponding to a page address on a display picture. Thus, the using condition of the page in a main memory can be visually expressed so as to be easily comprehended and the exact performance judging ability can be applied to the operator, etc.</p> |
