PURPOSE:To facilitate inspection by rotating the flap driver around a horizontal pin to lift the flap above a pintle fixed to main rudder section and drawing the pintle easily. CONSTITUTION:Main rudder section 1 is fixed to the hull 16 by rudder shaft 3 while a flap 2 is fixed to the end of main rudder section 1 by rotatable pins 9A, 9B which are parallel with the rudder shaft 3. A flap driver 5 comprised of a pair of links 5a, 5b is fixed to a vertical pin 4 above the rotary pin 9. The flap driver 5 is also formed rotatable upward by a horizontal pin 8. Consequently, a space for drawing the rotary pin 9A is provided to facilitate inspection of rotary pin 9A. |
