PURPOSE:To spread a prescribed amt. of a sample over the entire part of the bottom of a well formed on a serum tray by discharging the sample in which the excess amt. of the sample is combined with the prescribed amt. of the sample into a sub-vessel, the sucking the excess amt. of the sample from the sub-vessel. CONSTITUTION:A motor 7 for driving a nozzle forward and backward is driven by the control of a CPU 1 to move the nozzle 5 to the position above the serum tray 10 for analysis and a motor 6 for driving the nozzle upward and downward is driven to lower the tip of the nozzle 5 into the well 10a of the tray 10 down to the prescribed depth. The CPU 1 emits a signal to a motor 3 for driving a syringe so as to dispense the amt. xmul obtd. after the excess amt. ymul is added to prescribed dispensing amt. (e.g.: 25mul) into the well 10a. The sample of the xmul is discharged from the nozzle 5 into the well 10a cooperatively with the syringe 4 in this way. A signal is then sent to the motor 3 so as to suck the ymul. The syringe 4 is driven and the nozzle 5 sucks the sample of the ymul from the inside of the well 10a. The sample of x-y=25mul remains as the final dispensing amt. in the well 10a; in addition, the sample is held uniformly spread over the entire part of the bottom of the well. |
