<p>An automobile mountable bicycle carrier (10) that is mounted to the trunk portion of an automobile. The carrier (10) has rearwardly extending arms (60, 62) which have bicycle frame attachment brackets (100) engaged thereto. Two brackets (100) are disposed to hold each bicycle frame, one bracket (100) holding the top tube (132). The bracket (100) which holds the seat tube preferably also holds the top tube.</p> |
