The steering assembly for a vehicle has a steering column, with turnable steering shaft, connected to hub or spoke of a steering wheel. This has a central part, held by a holder. This is moveable along the steering column passes through an axial passage in the steering wheel, and acts with a cylindrical jacket section of the central part. The holder is formed by two bushes (11,11'), connected via an axial web (12). One bush is turnably supported on the wall section (15) of the steering column (4), and the second bush around a common exccentric axis (17), which is parallel to the axis (2) of the steering shaft (3). The web passes through the passage (13,13') in the steering wheel (1).
