摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of carbohydrate waste water treatment facilitates and to reduce the cost of maintenance and administration by separating the yeast appearing in carbohydrate waste water, culturing the yeast in a large volume, using the yeast as a seed bacteria and subjecting the waste water to a high-load operation treatment under specific volume load and yeast load. CONSTITUTION:The carbohydrate waste water such as waste water of bakeries is put into a raw water storage tank 1. This waste water is treated in a yeast treatment tank 2 is separated in a settling basin 3. The supernatant is treated in a contact oxidation tank 4 and the waste water substrate failing to be removed is removed. The settled yeast is returned to a yeast treatment tank 4. The used bacteria species are Trichosporon genus and Saccharomyces genus. The treatment conditions are specified to 10-80kgBOD/m<3>.day in volume load and 1.0-5.0kgBOD/kg yeast.day in yeast load volume. The high-load treatment is thereby enabled and the smaller treatment volume and air quantity are necessitated. In addition, the excess yeast is effectively utilizable as a fertilizer and feed and the cost of maintenance and administration is reduced.</p>
