PURPOSE:To enable readily taking out paper from the bottom side, even if the paper is jammed in a paper guide path, and also to easily perform dusting, etc., by forming from facing guide members a paper guide path for guiding paper into a printer body and by providing at least one side guide member together with the base plate of the printer body in the manner of freely opening and closing them. CONSTITUTION:A paper guide path 32 is composed of a guide 34 located directly under a platen 11, a curved guide 35, a printed-wiring board 25 and an inserting part 33 parallel to the board. The curved guide 35 is composed of an upper guide 38 as guide member mounted in the manner of freely rotating around a fulcrum 37 and a lower guide 40 as a guide member mounted in the manner of freely rotating around a fulcrum 39. An elastic salient piece 43 for engaging with and disengaging from a projection 42 formed in the based plate 41 is formed at the free end of this lower guide 40. When a paper 5 is jammed in the paper guide path 32, the guide path 32 is opened by opening of the lower guide 40 so that the jammed paper 5 can be taken out easily. |
