The paraglider has one- or two aerodynamic wing shapes (6,7) which are double skinned to inflate when deployed. The rear edge of each wind has slots to provide air jets. These propell the chute forwards and destroy any rear wing turbulence. Slots (5) on the top of the wing shape, near the rear edge, improve the airflow over the wing. The harness is collected onto two control bars with a shaped support for the arms of the operator. A seat is suspended from the control bars, which are tilted to steer the chute.
