摘要 The invention relates to an injection moulding tool particularly for use with liquid crystal polymers. The tool has at least two runners which are connected to separate injection machines. Plasticized polymer is fed to the cavity alternately from one machine or the other via hot runner block with at least two channels. One channel is connected to one runner, the other channel is connected to the second runner. Both channels merge into a single further channel leading to an injection machine. Between the runners and the further channel is an arrangement of one-way valves which allows polymer to stream from one injection machine to the other. USE/ADVANTAGE - Injection of plastic components, in particular of plasticizable liquid crystal polymers. The desired flow characteristics of plastic through the tool are achieved, therefore long molecules and fibres can be oriented in the direction of flow.
