<p>A method for modelling a pathological section of the circulatory system of a patient consists in generating a three-dimensional image of the pathological section and vessels connected to it and making, on the basis of that image, a three-dimensional model element (5) of an optically transparent material. Then said model element (5) is combined with the angiogram (1) of the whole section to be analyzed, thus, the model being obtained, whereas the method of simulating an endovascular operation by means of the obtained model is effected by passing, through the three-dimensional model element, a liquid flow whose hydrodynamic properties correspond to the hemodynamic properties of the blood flow of the patient and into which is introduced an occlusion device, and then the operation techniques and the occlusion device itself are developed.</p> |
