<p>An internal control or standard is provided for the direct quantitative assay by immunocytochemistry of target molecules in tissue specimens and the like. The control is subjected to the same conditions including immunostaining as the tissue specimen. Optical density of the control and the specimen after staining is compared, preferably by a cell analysis computer system.</p> |
