The frame leg or transom exterior is closed off by a weather bar. The bar should consist of a glass strip (1) fixed to the exterior by a permanently elastic connecting agent. Pref. the strip is permanently joined to the exterior by glue (3, 4), typically a double-sided sticky tape. Each longitudinal edge of the strip is enclosed in a U-shaped flexible plastics profile which bears against the frame leg or transom exterior with one of its legs.
