<p>PURPOSE: To realize the easy molding process and also the change of a structure including plural hollow tetrahedrons to a shape such as flat, circular or curved to make it rigid, lightweight and trussed by designing the structure in such a way that a support wall part extends to the center face perpendicularly to structurally interconnect the tetrahedrons. CONSTITUTION: A truss structure 10 comprises an array of cavities 12 which are arranged in a honeycomb fashion and adjacent to each other. Each of the cavities 12 is sectioned by plural solid flat side walls 13 and is covered with an upper plate 14 and a lower plate 16 to form a solid flat structure 10. In addition, the upper plate 14 and the lower plate 16 are joined to the upper and the lower honeycomb face of the structure to form a solid flat face. Each of the cavities 12 is basically of a tetrahedral shape, and is integrally formed with the bottom face of a hexagon having six bottom face edges and six edges and is positioned at the top of the bottom face of the hexagon. The apices of the tetrahedron coincide with the apices of the cavities 12. Each of the cavities 3 has the side walls of three parallelograms and six triangular side walls which can be arbitrarily selected. The wall of each of the parallelograms has four parallelogram apices and four parallelogram edges. Each of the triangles has three triangular apices and three triangular edges.</p> |
