The low-platform bus has an axle bridge, turnably holding the steered wheels on pivoted steering knuckles. These are rigidly fastened with vertical elements of the longitudinal guidance of the axle bridge, for torque supports. Each of the steering knuckles (5) carries a holder arm (2), engaging about the steered wheel (3). The arm carries a transverse guide roller (13), for tracking of the bus, which is a constant relative position to the wheel plane of the associated wheel. The arm is pivoted about an axis (18), parallel to the rotary axle (11) of the wheel. The holder arm is held in a constant relative position to the vehicle body (10), via a parallel guide (19).
