PURPOSE:To surely stabilize the liquid of a tail void portion by providing a plate-shaped member on the outer periphery of a cutter portion and toward the back side of a drilling machine, for mixing the liquid of the tail void portion. CONSTITUTION:A space enclosed by the bulkhead 3, cutter portion 8 and shield tube 2 of a drilling machine 1 is used as a drilling room 5 wherein muddy water and drilling sediment are mixed. In a cutting portion provided on the front face of the cutter portion 8 and the drilling room 5, a tail void C having mud films filled between the shield tube 2 and an outer peripheral natural ground B is formed from a liquid formed by uniformly mixing muddy water (a) and drilling sediment, etc. A dam plate 21 is provided on the front side of the shield tube 2. Besides, a plate shaped member 22 for mixing the liquid of the tail void C portion is provided on the outer periphery of the cutter portion 8. Thus frictional forces between the natural ground and the shield tube are reduced to enable propulsion over a long distance. |
