<p>PURPOSE:To save a data quantity of an entire video signal by compressing and transferring a data quantity of a color burst signal. CONSTITUTION:The circuit is provided with an A/D converter 2, a data compression section 14, a selector 9, a horizontal synchronizing signal detection circuit 3 and a color burst signal detection circuit 15. Then a horizontal synchronizing signal is detected from an analog video signal and a color burst signal is detected based on the horizontal synchronizing signal to generate a strobe signal thereby selecting the selector 9. Only the color burst signal is compressed among the digitized video signal by the changeover of the selector 9 and sent to a coding section from the selector 9. Thus, since the data compression of the color burst signal having not been compressed in a conventional system is attained, the reduction of the entire data transmission quantity is saved.</p> |
