PURPOSE:To prepare an optical information recording material excellent in the recording and reproduction characteristics and resistance to reproduction degradation characteristics by fixing a naphthalocyanine compd. having a central metal into which is introduced a hexaalkyldisilaazo group to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:A naphthalocyanine compd. of formula 1 wherein R is -ON[Si(R<0>)3]2 (wherein each R<0> is independently a linear or branched alkyl group); R<1> to R<4> are each independently a linear or branched alkyl group, CH2O-R<5>, O-R<5>, CH2CO-R<5>, or CO2-R<5>; each n is independently an integer of 0-6; and M is a metal. To prepare an optical information recording material, the compd. of formula 1 is vapor deposited or applied onto a substrate comprising, e.g. glass, polycarbonate resin, epoxy resin, or polystyrene. |
