PURPOSE:To deodorize strongly smelling boards of boiled fish paste and to use the boards in the same way as high-quality boards of boiled fish paste by treating the strongly smelling boards with an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide and a solution of catalase. CONSTITUTION:Boards of boiled fish paste are immersed in about 0.5-5% aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide for about 15-35 hours, washed with water, then immersed in about 0.01-1% solution of catalase for about 15-35 hours, washed with water and naturally dried. Optionally, before immersed in the aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide, the boards are immersed in an alkali solution and, if necessary, immersed in an acid solution. Or the boards are immersed in a mixed solution of alkali and hydrogen peroxide and optionally in the acid solution, neutralized and then immersed in the solution of catalase. |
