PURPOSE:To recognize the compression type multi-media information by adding an attribute information deciding part which decides the multi-media attribute and the attribute of the compression attribute information obtained at compression of data, a compression information expanding part which restores the compression information, and an information recognizing part. CONSTITUTION:The multi-media information is processed by an attribute information deciding part 12, and the multi-media attribute and the compression system are sent to a multi-media information recognizing part 14 and a compression information expanding part 13 via a cntrol bus 17. A multi-media information main body 24 received from the part 12 via data bus 16 is expanded by the part 13 based on the compression information 22 and processed by the part 14 based on the multi-media attribute information 21. This process result is outputted via an output interface 15 as the character information. Thus a series of processes are through. |
