<p>PURPOSE:To start a reproducing operation after automatically eliminating slackness on a magnetic tape by providing a detecting means to detect the slacked state of the magnetic tape, a braking means having a braking function, a pinch roller crimping prohibiting means and a rotation transmission means for tape slackness elimination. CONSTITUTION:A reel receiver 4a on one side is driven rotatably via the rotation transmission means 20 for tape slackness elimination, and the rotation of a reel receiver 4b on the other side is prohibited with the braking means 6, then, the slackness can be automatically eliminated. When the slcakness is eliminated in such way, the fact is detected with the detecting means 5, and a rotation transmission route from a motor to the reel receiver 4a on one side formed with the rotation transmission means 20 for tape slackness elimination is cut off. Then, the braking function of the braking means 6 and the pinch roller crimping prohibiting function of the pinch roller crimping prohibiting means 41 are dissipated, and the reproducing operation is started. In such a way, the reproducing operation can be started after the slackness is automatically eliminated even when the tape is slacked.</p> |
