摘要 |
PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hours and cost and to improve the accuracy of knocking detection by deciding the intensity of knocking according to the ratio of heat generation by normal combustion and heat generation due to the knocking. CONSTITUTION:An total-heat arithmetic means (e) calculates total-heat generation corresponding to a detected crank angle (d) in one cycle from specific arithmetic processing start timing based on a pressure variation waveform from which the high frequency component of combustion pressure which is detected (a) is removed (b) and the operation state C of an engine. A start timing setting means (f) sets the start timing of the heat generation arithmetic processing by the means (e) to a specific period behind the ignition timing of the cycle. A start point specifying means (g) specifies the start point of heat generation due to the knocking in one cycle. Further, a knocking heat arithmetic means (h) calculates the heat generation due to the knocking. Then a knocking intensity decision means (i) finds the ratio of the normal heat generation or total-heat generation in one cycle and the heat generation due to the knocking to decide the intensity of the knocking. |
