The present invention briefly concerns a device for connecting individual pipes (22, 23) to pipe lines, which device includes a male part (24) and a female part in a direct connection to each pipe (22, 23), the pipes having a substantially complementary design to fit into each other. The male part (24) comprises an outwardly conical portion (26) having a decreasing diameter towards the adjacent end (28) of the pipe (23), and the female part (30) comprises an inwardly conical portion having an increasing diameter towards the pipe end. Both conical portions are provided with a circumferentially extending groove (29, 33) respectively, which, when the male part (24) is inserted to a predetermined position in the female part (30), are opposite of each other forming a canal for receiving a lock thread (34). A hole for insertion of the lock thread (34) into this canal is made through the wall of the female part (30). A seal ring (31) is provided in the area between the lock grooves (29, 33) and the free end (28) of the female part (24). (Fig. 4) |
