<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a safety golf club, in which a head is prevented from springing even when a shaft is broken during swinging, by providing a connecting member, which passes trough inside the hollow shaft with the one end connected to the head and the other end connected to a grip, and a vibro-isolating member which prevents vibration of the connecting member in the hollow shaft. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a golf club formed in structure with a head 2 and a grip 3 fitted into a hollow shaft 1, one end of a wire 5 is connected to a hole 4 provided in a fitting part of the head 2, and after the wire 5 passes through inside the hollow shaft 1, the other end of the wire 5 is connected through a through hole 6 in the upper end of the grip 3. A cap 7 is fitted to the grip upper end for concealing a knot of the wire. While the inside of the hollow shaft 1 is filled with a foam filling material 8 to prevent the wire 5 from vibrating during swinging. Thus in the golf club, by connecting the head to the grip by the connecting member while holding the lightness in weight with the hollow shaft used, a hazard of springing the head is eliminated even when the shaft collides against an obstacle during swinging.</p> |
