摘要 PURPOSE:To realize very high density recording by adjusting laser beams at stats with different wavelength, stopping them to one beam of light with a dual grating and recording it on an optical disk. CONSTITUTION:Multiplex recording is performed by adjusting the wavelength of the laser beams emitted from a semiconductor laser 2 at the states with different wavelength by using plural optical disk devices 3, making light with different wavelength incident on a first dual grating 5, stopping the, to one beam of light and making it incident on the recording layer 7a of the optical disk 7 consisting of a photochromic material. In such a way, the very high density recording by a wavelength multiplex system can be easily performed, and also, the same function as in a case where plural optical pickup devices are prepared can be obtained even with one signal detecting optical system, and the device can be made into large capacity as the one with almost same capacity as a conventional optical pickup device.
