<p>PURPOSE:To improve visibility by a method wherein in a device which has a cornering lamp mounted to the outside of the head lamp for the front part of a car body, during detection of reversing of a car body, at least the cornering lamp located to the outside of the car body is lighted in the cornering direction of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 6 is formed such that a light switch is connected to an input terminal 7, input terminals 8 and 9 to the left and right contacts of a turn signal switch, and an input terminal 10 to a switch, e.g. back gear switch, to detect forward and reverse of an automobile. Lighting of cornering lamps 11 and 12 on the left and the right side is controlled by the control circuit. During forward of an automobile, the cornering lamp 11 or 12 on the reverse side to the cornering side is lighted. When reverse of an automobile 1 is detected, the cornering lamp on the different side from that during forward is lighted. Namely, control is effected so that the cornering lamp 11 or 12 on the outer side, as seen toward the cornering direction of a vehicle, of a car body is lighted.</p> |
