<p>PURPOSE:To perform the recording/reproducing of a signal with high quality by providing a groove having an angle equivalent to or more than that of the feed guidance part of a magnetic tape on the outer peripheral plane of an upper cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The groove 11 having the angle equivalent to or more than the tilt angle of the feed guidance part 13 of the magnetic tape 21 arranged on the outer peripheral plane of the upper cylinder 5 is provided at an upper rotary cylinder device. And the reaction of a comb-up force to the magnetic tape 21 feeding at constant speed with a magnetic head 4 is supplied to the magnetic tape 21 according to the fast rotation of the upper cylinder 3, thereby, a force set side by side with the feed guidance part 13 can be increased. Also, an air current can flow smoothly backward according to the fast rotation of the upper cylinder 3, which enables the touching performance of the magnetic head 4 to be improved. In such a way, the recording and reproducing of the signal with high quality can be performed.</p> |
