DISPLAY CONTACT DEVICE

摘要

PURPOSE: To surely bring an insulator into contact with an electric conductor even in terminals densely arranged in a row by arranging the electric conductor in the insulator so as to alternately shift over the all length of the insulator in one and the other side walls of a stripe piece insulator. CONSTITUTION: A conductor belt-shaped terminal is formed on a printed wiring board 1 and a conductor belt-shaped terminal 3 is formed on its lower surface, and these terminals are arranged so as to correspond to the conductor belt on the wiring board 1 over the all length of a display element 2. A stripe piece- shaped insulator 4 is formed in order to conduct electrical contact of the conductor belt of the wiring board 1 and the conductor belt of the element 2. Electric conductors of the shape of plate spring 6 are fixed to both side walls 5 of the trapezoid-shaped insulator 4 so as to alternately shift over the all length of the insulator 4. The distance of the plate spring 6 is set twice the distance of a grid. The plate spring 6 and the insulator 4 are fixed to the wiring board 1 while they are brought into contact with the conductor belt of the wiring board 1. The element 2 is fixed to a presser frame 8, and the element 2 is pressed against the plate spring 6.
