<p>PURPOSE:To move an inspection equipment continuously along an elevated line by providing a hook mechanism, vertically turning shaft movably provided in a main unit, running wheel supporting arm and a mechanism for clamping a pair of running wheels on the elevated line. CONSTITUTION:A main unit 1 is constituted of a main unit part 3 and a balancer, and the main unit 1 is suspended to an elevated line 70 by running wheels 16, 17 at both end parts of a running wheel supporting arm 13. The elevated line 70 is clamped between the running wheels 16, 17 by clamp mechanisms 20, 21, and the main unit 1 is moved by rotating the running wheels 16, 17 with running wheel driving mechanisms 18, 19. The main unit, when it approaches an obstacle 71, is stopped just before it, and the running wheel 16 is unclamped from the elevated line 70 by the clamp mechanism 20, with the supporting arm 13 swiveled by a swivel mechanism 12, moved to the front and returned onto the elevated line 70 after the running wheel 16 climbs over the obstacle 71. Similarly, the running wheel 17 also climbs over the obstacle 71. Thus, an inspection equipment can be continuously moved along the elevated line 70.</p> |
