PURPOSE:To render the change of rhythm due to pronunciation by storing plural constant tables used in the setting of vocal sounds duration length or plural constant tables used in the setting of an amplitude pattern, and using different constant tables selectively. CONSTITUTION:The parameter system of a voice element piece read out according to an input symbol string which expresses a vocal sounds and the rhythm is connected with a voice parameter rule. And the rhythm is attached by calculating the vocal sounds duration length corresponding to the input symbol string which expresses the vocal sounds and the rhythm, a fundamental frequency pattern, and the amplitude pattern, etc., with a rhythm control rule. The plural constant tables used in the setting of the vocal sounds duration length or that of the amplitude pattern are stored, and by calculating the duration length, the fundamental frequency pattern, or the amplitude pattern by using the different constant stables based on the purpose in use of a synthesized voice, a requested tone, and the characteristic of a speaker, etc., the change of the rhythm due to a pronouncing purpose, the tone, and the characteristic of the speaker, etc., can be rendered with fidelity. |
