The device can be used in radar stations and in other branches of radio physics, where the optimal actual separation of signals from interferences is required under the Neiman-Pierson criterion. It has an enhanced response time. The device contains a delay line (1), first and second threshold circuit (2 and 3), first disable circuit (4), first pulse duration selector (5), first temporary quantizer (7), second temporary quantizer (8), second disable scheme (9), bi-directional counter (10), DA converter (11), second pulse duration selector (12), third disable scheme (13), fourth disable scheme (14), overflow disable decoder (15), reset disable decoder (16), second generator of reference pulses (17) and fifth disable scheme (18). The delay line input (1) is the device input, and the output of the first temporary quantizer (6) is its output.
