This apparatus is used for the extraction of ether oils from raw materials with exogenous nests, such as lavender, salvia, mint, basil, savory, etc. It allows for the distillation to be carried out in one column in a thin layer, without suspension of the raw material, with a decreased process duration, and avoidance of reverse sorption of the oil from the vaporous phase into parts of the raw containing no oil material. The apparatus is a vertical, cylindrical, hollow column with a feeding screw conveyor. At the centre of the column, a conical bottom (3), and a nozzle (4) for steam feeding is mounted. In its upper, smoothly curved part, the column is connected with a sedimentation cyclone (2) with a conical bottom (10). A ring-shaped conduit (12) for steam feeding is attached to it and at the bottom (10) an unloading device (13) is mounted.
