PURPOSE:To provide an amorphous solar cell having a high optical stability and a high efficiency by forming junctions including optically active layers through plural layer films formed of a transparent conductive film layer containing metal oxide as a main ingredient and a meshlike or stripelike low resistance metal layer, and electrically connecting both the junctions in parallel through the plural layer films. CONSTITUTION:A transparent conductive film layer 4 containing metal oxide such as ITO, SnO2, etc., as a main ingredient is formed on a glass substrate 2, a p-type amorphous semiconductor layer 11, an i-type amorphous semiconductor layer 12 and an n-type amorphous semiconductor layer 13 are sequentially formed to form a p-i-n junction 10, plural layer films formed of a second transparent conductive film layer 14 containing metal oxide as a main ingredient and a meshlike or stripelike low resistance metal layer 15 is formed on the junction 10, and a p-i-n junction 20 of a second stage is formed in the order of an n-type layer 23, an i-type layer 22 and a p-type layer 21. Since the resistance value is reduced while maintaining transmissivity by the formation of plural layers with the layer 15, a solar cell having a high efficiency can be realized. |
