PURPOSE:To suppress control delay in the phase control of a motor just after its start without damaging its starting characteristic by performing the phase control with a predetermined phase angle when sensing a predetermined rotational speed after its start and thereafter, performing the phase control with a phase angle defined from the sensed rotational speed and the preset one. CONSTITUTION:After a burner motor 7 is started with its phase angle of 0 deg., when the rotational speed of the burner motor 7 has exceeded a preset one, the phase of the burner motor 7 is controlled with a predetermined phase angle. When a pre-purge of a burner is completed after the lapse of about ten seconds from the start of the burner motor 7, by a microcomputer 1, a spark plug 9 is operated during a predetermined time to try ignition while at the same time a fuel pump 8 is started at a predetermined frequency. At this time, the rotational speed of the burner motor 7 has arrived nearly at a preset one and since an amount of air for burning suitable to powerful burning is fed to the burner, ignition is performed at a suitable air-fuel ratio. |
