PURPOSE:To start an engine using kerosene, alcohol, etc., as fuel without being assisted by any aux. fuel by furnishing a heating element equipped with a tongue, which faces a gasifying passage between a carburettor and a combustion chamber and protrudes toward the combustion chamber from that end of passage on the combustion chamber side. CONSTITUTION:The temp. of a heating block 11 is raised with current feed to a glow plug 14, and it is sensed by a temp. sensor 102. A comparator part 107 to be fed with an output signal from sensors 101, 102 sets the target temp. of a block 11 which suits the exterior temp. to be sensed by the sensor 101 and compares the temp. of the block 11 with the target value. When the block 11 attains the target value, a heating completion signal is emitted from the comparator part 107, and an FF 108 is set, and the logical level of Q output becomes '1'. With this setting of FF 108 a pump 15 is operated for a minute period of time, and an aux. kerosene for starting of approx. 1cc is supplied to a passage 13 and gasified by the block 11, and also a starting preparation completion lamp 111 is lighted along with starting of a timer 112. |
