The invention concerns a method of mounting a ring-shaped magnet 6 inside a cylindrical housing 1 which has a central boss 4 and a surrounding collar 3. The method according to the invention concerns an O-ring 13 being fitted on the boss after which the magnet is put over the first O-ring, pushed in to make a contact by mechanical attraction with the bottom wall of the housing, whereby the magnet is held centred inside the housing. The housing acts as a magnetic yoke and the whole system can, for example, be used for mobile radio antennas which can be fixed on e.g. the roof of a car in such a way that they can be removed. <IMAGE> |
