A container, comprising a first part 2 and second part 3 which is fitted such that it can be swivelled relative to the said first part between two end positions about a joint 4. The joint comprises two recesses in the one part, situated the one directly in front of the other, and two pivot pins jutting into one each of the recesses. Together with the recesses, the pivot pins define a common swivel axis and, in assembly and disassembly, the pivot pins can be guided into and out of the associated recess by virtue of the pliability of the one or the other part. Each recess and pivot pin has two projections directed transversely to the swivel axis. The pivot pins have a contour which, viewed along the swivel axis, is substantially uniform with the contour of the recesses, so that the pivot pins, in a sole predetermined swivel position thereof and hence of the second part, can be guided into and out of the recesses.
