PURPOSE: To simplify a structure by forming a second conveyor passage in order to convey documents from a first side of an exposure zone to a discharge passage without reversal and arranging a conveyor member for sheets in the discharge passage in the position over the position in which the second conveyor passage is communicated with the discharge passage. CONSTITUTION: Single-face printed documents are fed one by one from a cassette 23 to an exposure flat plate 24 through a feeding passage 21, the rotational direction of a conveyor belt 25 is reversed after respective documents are exposed, a sheet deflector 29 is set in the position shown by a broken line, as a result, respective documents are returned to the cassette 23 through a second discharging passage 28. While, double-face printed documents are fed one by one from the cassette 23 to the exposure flat plate 24 through the feeding passage 21, returned to the cassette 23 through a fist discharge passage 22 after their each one face are exposed, and again fed one by one from the cassette 23 to the exposure flat surface 24, and returned to the cassette 23 through the discharge passage 22 after the other faces are exposed.
