PURPOSE:To reproduce an original waveform with high fidelity by storing specific data obtained by converting an instantaneous value of a sound source waveform in a memory. CONSTITUTION:An original musical tone is converted to a musical tone signal by a microphone 1, and subsequently, the output of an amplifier 2 is brought to sampling and converted to digital musical tone data X(t) by an analog/digital converter 3, outputted to a controller 4, and stored in a temporary storage memory 5. Next, digital musical tone data X(t) of a one-period portion is read out of the memory 5, X(t)/M is obtained by normalizing it by the maximum amplitude M of the same signal X(t), and from the value X(t)/M, phi(t)=sin<-1> (X(t)/M) or phi(t)=cos<-1> (X(t)/M) is derived, and the derived value phi(t) is stored in a memory 7. In such a way, the waveform control can be executed easily, and also, the original waveform an be reproduced with high fidelity. |
