On reception of a signal having undergone spreading of the spectrum of the data under modulation with minimum phase gradient, the receiver device generates local signals similar to the received carrier waves, demodulates the waves received by the local signals in order to obtain baseband signals, generates polar replicas comprising at least one non-zero level step in order to approximate the shape of a semi-sinusoid, demodulates, by correlation, the baseband signals with the polar replicas, performs the algebraic sum of the baseband signals thus demodulated, and samples the signal thus obtained for the purposes of reconstructing the transmitted data. <IMAGE>
