PURPOSE:To effectively discharge ozone out of a machine and to prevent the occurrence of the degradation of an image quality by constituting an air flowing passage along which air flows from the place between the image forming unit armor and the cleaning means or the developing means via an exposing aperture part to an exhaust fan. CONSTITUTION:An air flow shown by an arrow B is induced by the fan 11. The air flow runs into a cartridge K between the inside surface of the cartridge cover 10 and the side of the developing unit 5, runs out of the beam exposure window 12, and is discharged out of the machine from the fan 11. Ozone in the vicinity of a primary electrifier 4 is discharged out of the machine by the air flow. To send air into the cartridge K effectively, a space shielding member 14 for blocking a passage, along which air passes outside an above the cartridge K, is attached. |
