The invention relates to a device for extracting the crop and the adhering parts from the neck of slaughtered poultry (1). This device includes a mandrel (3) driven rotationally and moved from the abdominal cavity (2) as far as into the opening (6) of the neck, which mandrel (3) forms part of a suction system (3c) and comprises fastening means (11), openings (10) being provided in the suction system close to these fastening means. The mandrel also includes a radially-projecting sealing element (12) which is rounded over the radial external part and mounted on the same side as the means (11) directed at a distance from the end of the mandrel, and of which the radial dimensions in the abdominal cavity are greater than those of the neck opening. <IMAGE>
