PURPOSE:To ensure articulation and to keep natural announce broadcast by setting an amplification factor of a period of an announce signal uttered continuously such as a clause, a phrase or a sentence to a constant level in response to a noise level. CONSTITUTION:The announce signal is fed from an input terminal 1 to a gain adjuster 15 and a signal corresponding to the noise level is fed to an amplification factor setting section 14. The amplification factor setting section 14 uses a signal in synchronization with the leading of an input signal obtained from a gate circuit 5 to set a control voltage of the gain adjuster in response to the noise level at that point of time, to keep the level of the announce signal at the period when the clause, phrase or sentence is uttered continuously to a prescribed level, and resets the level in response to the noise level at each leading of the clause or the like and the level is adjusted automatically through the gain adjuster 15. |
