PURPOSE:To retain electrical connection between batteries and to avoid the disconnection of battery pack output voltage even if outside force is applied by electrically connecting batteries with a conductive wire. CONSTITUTION:Batteries 22, 24 are electrically connected with a conductive wire 26. Insulating spacers 28, 30 made of rigid material are placed between the batteries 22, 24 to ensure a constant distance. The batteries 22, 24, the conductive wire 26, and the spacers 28, 30 are accommodated in a heat- shrinkable outer tube 32 made of vinyl chloride, and heat is applied to the outer tube 32 to shrink it for fixing them. Just before the use of the batteries, a traction string is pulled to remove sealing plugs 8, 8', then the batteries are put into water. Water enters the batteries and voltage is produced. Even if batteries are slipped by the outside force, the conductive wire 26 absorbs the slippage and damage to the connecting parts of the conductive wire 26 with batteries 22, 24 are avoided and disconnection of output voltage is also avoided. |
