PURPOSE:To obtain a color toner high in image density and superior in thin line reproduction performance and highlight gradation by specifying a particle diameter distribution of the toner particles. CONSTITUTION:The toner particles have a volume average particle diameter of 6 - 10mum, and contain the particles of 12.7 - 16.0mum diameter in 15 - 40 number %, those of >=16mum diameter in <=1.0 volume %, and those of 6.35 - 10.1mum diameter have an amount of V (volume %) and N (number %) and a particle diameter distribution represented by expression I in which dv is a volume average particle diameter, thus permitting an image high in image quality and good in color reproducibility to be obtained, irrespective of changes of environmental conditions. |
