<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject value even with a CRT display that is not corresponding to a light pen by obtaining the subject value (position information, value information) based on the color of the flown light. CONSTITUTION:When the video recording time is reserved at 12:30, for example, the position '1' of a menu 6 is pointed by a light pen 11. If the item of '1' of the menu 6 is red, a photodetecting element 1a attached at the tip of the pen 11 receives the red light flown from the position '1' of the menu 6 and converts the red light into a red electric signal to send it to an electric signal/ color code conversion part 2a. Thus the part 2a converts the received red electric signal into a color code '001' and sends it to a color code/subject code conversion part 3a. The part 3a obtains a subject code '1' from the received color code via a color code/subject code conversion table 4a and outputs the subject code '1'. In such a way, the subject code values '2', 'hour', '3', '0' and 'minute' can be obtained by pointing successively the menu 6 with the pen 11.</p> |
